At Nightglowe, we aim to ensure that customers have the best possible experience when installing our lighting products. While many Nightglowe products can be installed by customers themselves, professional installation is recommended for certain products.


To assist customers, Nightglowe may list independent automotive shops as installation partners. These installers are familiar with our products and can provide professional installation services.

Independent Installation Partners


Nightglowe installation partners are independent businesses and are not employees, contractors, or representatives of Nightglowe.


Installation partners are responsible only for the installation service they provide, including:


• Installation labor

• Installation pricing

• Scheduling and availability

• Installation workmanship


Nightglowe does not control or guarantee installation services performed by third-party installers.


Customers should contact the installer directly to arrange installation appointments.

How Installation Works


  1. Customers purchase Nightglowe products directly from our website.

  2. The product is shipped to the customer.

  3. The customer brings the product to an installer of their choice.

  4. The installer performs the installation service.


Installation pricing and service agreements are made directly between the customer and the installer.

IMPORTANT — PRODUCT SUPPORT


If a Nightglowe product is faulty, damaged, or stops working, customers must contact Nightglowe directly.


INSTALLERS ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR PRODUCT DEFECTS OR PRODUCT REPLACEMENTS.

Installation Recommendations


To maximize durability and performance, Nightglowe recommends the following installation practices.


Underglow Installation


Underglow lighting systems are exposed to outdoor conditions such as water, debris, and road vibration.


To improve durability:


• Use heat shrink tubing for wire connections

• Seal exposed wiring connections to improve water resistance

• Apply additional protective sealing where possible


These steps help protect electrical components from moisture exposure.

Mounting Underglow Strips


The adhesive backing included with the underglow kit should not be relied on as the sole mounting method.


Recommended installation method:


• Use the included screw-on mounting brackets

• Secure strips firmly to the vehicle chassis


Mounting brackets help prevent strips from loosening due to:


• Road vibration

• Weather exposure

• Road debris

Starlight Headliner Installation


For starlight headliner installations:


• Use a very small drill bit to create holes in the headliner fabric

• Small drill bits (approximately 1/16 inch) help keep holes nearly invisible

• Start with the smallest bit possible depending on the fabric thickness


This allows the fiber optic strands to stay secure while maintaining a clean OEM-style appearance.

Product Reliability


Nightglowe products undergo quality checks before shipping. However, due to manufacturing variance or shipping conditions, occasional defects may occur.


Based on historical orders:


• Approximately 2 out of every 100 starlight kits may contain a faulty component

• Approximately 3–5 ambient lighting strips per 100 kits may arrive damaged during shipping


If this occurs, Nightglowe will promptly replace faulty components through our customer support system.

Limitation of Liability


Nightglowe is not responsible for:


• Installation labor performed by third-party installers

• Vehicle damage caused during installation

• Installation mistakes made by installers or customers

• Modifications made to vehicles during installation


Customers assume responsibility for selecting a qualified installer and ensuring proper installation of Nightglowe products.
