Universal fit, works on any make and model. Every NIGHTGLOWE kit installs the same way in any car, truck, or SUV. This Subaru WRX page is an example build, the same kits and steps fit your vehicle too. See the step-by-step install guide or find your kit.

Subaru WRX Underglow, Ambient Lighting, and Starlight Headliner

The WRX has a strong enthusiast following, and NIGHTGLOWE lighting suits it well: weatherproof underglow for any climate, RGBIC ambient lighting, and a starlight headliner in the compact cabin.

WRX Underglow

The strips are weatherproof, which matters on an all-season, all-weather car like the WRX. Mount the front strips behind the bumper, the sides under the rockers, and the rears under the diffuser, leaving a service loop at each connector. Power from a switched fuse with an add-a-fuse, and see our underglow install guide for wiring and legality.

WRX Ambient Lighting

The 22-in-1 kit covers the doors, dash, and footwells. The WRX's driver-focused cabin makes a subtle blue or red glow look right at home. Route the strips behind the door and dash trim for a clean finish.

Starlight Headliner for the WRX

The WRX sedan has a fabric headliner that takes a starlight install well, and the compact cabin concentrates the stars for a bright effect. The GalaxyDrive Bundle pairs stars with ambient lighting.

Subaru WRX Lighting FAQ

Is the underglow okay for a WRX driven in all weather?
Yes, the strips are weatherproof. Leave a service loop of slack, keep wiring off the suspension, and avoid pressure-washing connectors directly.

Does a starlight headliner fit the WRX?
Yes. The sedan's fabric headliner takes the fiber install, and the compact cabin concentrates the stars for a brighter look.

Where do I power the kit on a WRX?
A switched 12V circuit at the fuse box with an add-a-fuse. Do not hardwire to the battery.

Is underglow legal on a WRX?
It varies by state. Many restrict certain colors and motion while driving. Check your state in our underglow laws by state guide, and see how to run underglow legally when parked or at car shows.
