RAM 1500 Starlight Headliner, Ambient Lighting, and Underglow

The RAM 1500 has one of the nicest cabins in the segment, which makes it a great base for NIGHTGLOWE lighting. Starlight headliner, RGBIC ambient lighting, and underglow all install cleanly, and the kit runs independently of any factory lighting.

RAM 1500 Ambient Lighting

Higher RAM trims like Limited and Longhorn already have some factory ambient light, and the NIGHTGLOWE 22-in-1 kit adds far more color and zones on top, with app and RF remote control. The wide door panels and big footwells give the light a lot of surface to fill.

RAM 1500 Underglow

The RAM's tall ride height makes underglow read strong and wide. Mount the strips behind the bumpers and along the frame, leave slack at each connector, and keep the wire clear of the suspension. Does this work with the RAM's factory ambient lighting?
Yes. The NIGHTGLOWE kit runs independently and adds more colors and zones than the factory system on Limited and Longhorn trims. You can run both.

Which RAM cab is best for a starlight headliner?
The Crew Cab has the largest headliner for the densest star field. Quad Cab works too with a smaller area.

Where do I power the kit on a RAM 1500?
A switched 12V circuit at the fuse box with an add-a-fuse. Do not hardwire to the battery.

Does underglow work around the RamBox?
Yes. Route the side strip wiring inboard of the bed storage and leave a service loop so nothing pulls tight.
